This is the Dan Kessler Observatory, located on the roof of the Herzberg Building at Carleton University in Ottawa. It houses a 35 cm (14 inch) Schmidt Cassigrain telescope (SCT) by Celestron used by the Planetary Astronomy course (Physics 1901) and Carleton University Astrophysics Society (CUAPS).
Access to it is restricted but it can be seen from the buildings nearby or by appointment through the Office of the Director of Integrated Sciences.
