Elk - Herriman, Utah - Figurative Public Sculpture on Waymarking.com

We were out driving around in beautiful Herriman and found this awesome Elk in the middle of the street. Had to take out a camera to get some pictures. This elk was created by Brent Fluckiger in 2006. The area is southwest in the Salt Lake Valley where the deer and elk had their winter range before urban sprawl. Now all we get to see is statues instead of the fantastic wildlife. :(
