The church of St. Adalbert was built in neo-renaissance style between 1887-1889 according to plans of renowned architect B. Münzberger.
The church has rectangular chancel with an apse and prismatic tower. The windows are decorated with paintings, representing Our Lady of Sorrows.
The facade have a polychrome relief depicting Jesus holding a birch twig in the hands - a symbol of Brezové Hory and the local mines.
The temple was dedicated to the patron of miners - St. Adalbert. In the left nave of the church is the altar of the Virgin Mary, in the right altar of St.Wenceslas.
