This Adirondack Chair stands on the front lawn of Duke Ellington School of the Arts. It was built in 1996 by Georgetown University students as a gift to the Ellington School as part of the Green Chair Project.

One can see from pictures at the the Roadside America website, that people are dwarfed by this chair. It's hard to even climb up onto it. Another picture of a person that made it up to the chair is at the location website below.
