Velice zajimavy je pozemek, ktery je ve tvaru kruhu. Kostel je obehnan hranolovou bednenou zdi.
Jedna se o rane goticky kostel, ktery pochazi ze 13. stoleti. Je velice zajimave, ze v 18. stoleti byl prestaven na kostel barokniho stylu.
Prvni pisemna zminka pochazi z roku roku 1350, avsak predpoklada se, ze je o sto let starsi stavbu.
Kostel se povazuje za o prostou venkovskou stavbu. Ve stredoveku slouzil jako sidlo samostatne farnosti, dnes kostel vlastni farnost Loukovec.
