Ritter Sport chocolate is sold around the world. The headquarters and factory are located about 30 minutes by car south of Stuttgart in the village of Waldenbuch.
Although I can't confirm if they give tours, they do have a very good (free) exhibition on the cocoa plant and how their chocolate is made. The exhibits are in English as well as German. There is a film shown in a small viewing room which is nice for kids (in German only). The exhibition is on the upper floor and the factory outlet shop is on the ground floor. In the shop you can buy Ritter Sport chocolate products at reduced prices and imperfect chocolate at highly reduced prices.
There is also a modern art museum which charges admission and has nothing to do with chocolate. Next to the art museum is a cafeteria.
