The Mt. Kemble Home has been operating continuously since 1883. It was built in three sections between 1826 and 1906. It reflects Carpenter Gothic and Colonial Revival styles.
The Mt. Kemble Home is a residence for women living on fixed incomes. It aids women who are independent and capable of being in charge of their lives, but who are incapable or unwilling to move in with others.
