Mollymook Beach in southern NSW has long stretches of sand & clear green waters. The Surf Life Saving Club is situated at the southern end as are the amenities & beach cafe. The beach is patrolled 8 til 6 during the summer season & reduced hours otherwise. The surf break is a favourite of body boarders & there were several surfing today, all wearing steamers. The beach has held several state & national Surf Life Saving competitions.
There is ample free parking behind the club house & nearby. Visitors are well catered for with beach side accommodation. The beach is popular with families. Nudists aren't allowed & nor are horses & dogs must be on a leash. You can't drive on the beach. The beach is accessible 24/7 & there is no fee. People bring their own chairs, umbrellas, eskys etc. There are walking paths behind the beach which extend over several kilometres although you can just walk on the beach. Beach cricket is popular.
There are no signs naming the beach which is located in the town of Mollymook.
