Salt Lake Temple

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Morning Pioneer commenced construction in 1853 on this famous temple, which was completed and dedicated forty years later on April 6, 1893. The walls are solid granite, cut from mountains in Little Cottonwood Canyon and hauled 20 miles by wagon team to the temple site. The grounds on Temple Square are in bloom approximately 9 months of the year.

We had fun time doing the postcard photos. Trying to match our photo to the postcard. We hope you will also.
