This benchmark disk is the reset azimuth mark for National Geodetic Survey (NGS) marker gg0826 "SHIPPEY", placed in 1970 when the first (1934) azimuth mark was deemed "destroyed." This marker can be found in the sidewalk at the northeast corner of Broken Arrow North Intermediate High School, just southwest of the intersection of E Detroit St and Lynn Lane (aka N 9th St, aka S 177th E Ave).
