This 1948 Memorial recognizes specific veterans of World War I and World War II.
Unfortunately, the poster of this Waymark can't read all the names on the WWII portion of the photo of this Memorial...but the text and WWI sections read:
"LEST WE FORGET
THIS MONUMENT STANDS
IN MEMORY OF THE GALLANT
MEN OF GLOBEVILLE WHO
SACRIFICED THEIR LIVES
IN WORLD WARS I AND II
WORLD WAR I
JOHN WYSOWATCKY
MARTIN CLEMENTS"
Globeville is the Denver neighborhood in which this monument stands---and used to be a city before being annexed.
