Original brick paved section of Beech from 14th - 24th streets. Most downtown streets in early Texarkana (both sides) were paved with brick. Few areas retain their original brick paving. Located within the separate Beech Street Historic District.

"The portion of Beech Street covered by this nomination is the largest contiguous section of brick street remaining in Texarkana. The Beech Street Brick Street includes approximately 3,500 feet of brick pavement that was laid c.1904. The street illustrates the improvements that were undertaken to better cope with automobile traffic in the early twentieth century. As a result, it is therefore eligible for nomination under Criterion A for its association with the development of Arkansas highway culture."
