This wonderful guitar sculpture is located in Tom Evans Plaza in downtown Ames right across from the history mural. It was created by Jaak Kindberg (American, b. 1957) out of steel and dedicated in 2008 by the city of Ames. It is part of the Neighborhood Sculpture Program under the Public Art Commission.
