Diamondball Park is a small playground/ball field in the south half of the city.
It covers about a city block with a small playground set in the northeast corner and two ball fields on the west half the the block.
Many ball leagues, T-ball and minor league, use this facility. Also, when ball games are not scheduled, there are neighborhood pick-up games of ball on the fields.
The playground set is fairly typical of the newer equipment being installed in many parks. The older equipment, merry-go-rounds, teeter-totters, and large slides are no longer around.
There is no fence around this park so admission is free all hours.
The only restroom facility is a porta-potty next to the playground equipment. When ball games are scheduled, another porta-potty is installed near the bleachers.
