This POW-MIA memorial on the OSU campus is located on the southside of Whitehurst Hall, just southwest of the Edmon Low Library and north of Theta Pond.
The flag pole appears to be about 30 feet tall, all metal pole with no foundation. It is installed directly into the brick-lined sidewalk. Two flags are flown: USA flag and the state of Oklahoma flag.
There are two plaques laid into the brick sidewalk:
Text on plaque:
From this day to the ending of the world, but we in it shall be remembered; we few, we happy few, we band of brothers.
- Shakespeare
Dedicated to those who fought, served and never made it home. You are not forgotten.

______________
Text on second plaque:
The Flag
Flag of the sturdy fathers
Flat of the loyal sons
Beneath its folds it gathers
Earth's blest and noblest ones.
Boldly we wave its colors
Our veins are thrilled anew
By the steadfast bars, the
clustered stars
The Red, The White, and the Blue.
- Margaret E. Songster
