The Person: L. Clark Cushing was born October 7, 1916 to William Orrin and Ezabella Morrison Cushing in Sugarhouse and was raised in Murray, Utah, he married Anita Olsen in Elko, Nevada on November 24, 1948. They were sealed in the LDS Temple on August 20, 1954. He served as commissioner of Murray, Utah for 16 years. He belonged to the IBEW, L.U. 354 and served as training director for the JATC until he retired in 1982.
- He died on September 3, 1992, at the age of 76, of complications from diabetes at the Holy Cross Hospital.
