Long Description:
Whitechapel Road is in the infamous East End of London. The road exits the city, through Aldgate, on its way to Essex.
The most prominent building along Whitechapel Road is The Royal London Hospital and that place has been chosen for the co-ordinates of this location.
The immediate area has always proved popular with immigrants including, more recently, people of an Asian background. This does have the upside that excellent curry is available in some of the roads near to Whitechapel.
It's place, on the Monopoly board, has probably not changed since the birth of Monopoly.
