These huge figures adorn the front of an old building in Angono, Rizal Province. The are the work of famed artist Nemiranda noted for his murals and large sculptures feature elements of Filipino life.

As near as can be determined, this building was once the Nemiranda Cafe, from at least one older photo reference. The full name is obscured by an awning. At the time of these photos (Feb. 20110), however, the building appeared to be partially vacant and not well maintained.
Nemesio Miranda, Jr., almost always referred to as Nemiranda, does have a museum here in Angono which bills itself as the "Art Capital of the Philippines." This piece, in its theme and presentation, is typical of many of his other works. Depicted are a Filipono man and woman, with a seagull resting on the womans's arm, and three fish at their feet. The sculpture is about 20 feet tall rising about two floors height on the front of the building.
