This complex of buildings houses three distinct courts. The lowest administrative level is the Dusit District Court, which is a Bangkok suburb. The other two are a little difficult to closely identify. There are several different supreme courts in Thailand, with some degree of overlap of responsibility. Having said that, the main use of this building is by the Supreme Court of Justice. This judicial system deals with what might be termed the 'standard' range of criminal charges. This court deals with the more important cases and appeals.

The building is located in the government and tourist precinct of Bangkok, on the river. It is 100m or so long, with well cared for grounds. It is within walking distance are dozens of tourist attractions. The day I visited here though was at a time when there was growing political tension in the capital, a combination of the approaching election and the conflict with Cambodia. There were guards and protestors around, who both gave the impression that they did not wish to be photographed.

Unfortunately, I can find little more hard information about this building in English.
