"Parc des eaux vives" was established in 1993 in the abandoned canal of Huningue. It has a length of about 500 meters with an average flow of 75 ft/min.
The park is open from 9:00 to 21:00 (19:00 on weekends and holidays) in summer, except for days when there are official events, like races. During other seasons the times are a bit shorter, it is closed when the temperature falls below 0°C.
