A World War I cannon, which was originally located in the Kearns Veterans Memorial Park in Kearns, Utah, is now located in the parkway along 4800 West next to the Kearns Recreation Center, and near the Olympic Speed Skating Oval.

This World War I era cannon is now placed near the Kearns Recreation Center, the Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center and the Olympic Speed Skating Oval, in the parkway along 4800 West. It was displaced from the Arlo D. James Kearns Veterans Memorial Park, which was situated at the southwest corner of 4015 West 5415 South in Kearns. The park was destroyed to facilitate the widening of 5415 South roadway. The cannon itself has been restored during its relocation journey.
This World War I era cannon was donated by the Kearns American Legion Post 132 for the Town of Kearns 30th Anniversary in July 1979. The Kearns Veterans Memorial Park, where this cannon sits, is located at 4025 West 5415 South in Kearns, Utah.
