The Blanco Family Museum is something unique - the work of one artist, his wife and their seven children, showing the progression of art development for each one in his/her own right.
Jose V. Blanco is regarded as world renowned Filipino artist who arose from poverty to become one of the best artists of the realistic murals. His wife and each if their seven children were nurtured, each winning various art awards.
The museum has on display murals and paintings of the family, some from a very early age, showing the development of their craft. Next to the outer wall of the compound is this small garden area with sculptures on display, a few cages with a monkey and some birds, and a quiet walking path that leads over this small arched stone bridge spanning a small stream. The bridge consists of stone slabs, about 6 inches wide and 24 inches long, placed in an arching fashion to form the bridge.
