visit link) is a beautiful addition to the downtown section of Salt Lake. The multimillion-dollar building was nicknamed the "Taj Mahal" by some critics over its cost. The building houses the Utah Supreme Court (

THE PERSON:Scott M Matheson (
visit link) lived in Utah for most of his life. His family moved here soon after he was born. He received a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Utah in 1950, and a law degree from Stanford University in 1952. He was the 12th Governor of Utah from 1977 to 1985. During his term as governor, Matheson was named defendant in the U.S. Supreme Court case of H. L. v. Matheson.
