The Bull is over 400 years old. Originally a coaching inn providing accommodation for passengers and horses. Many notable travellers have stayed here, Turner the artist, Coleridge, De Quincy on his way to meet William Wordsworth and more recently Donald Campbell. Serves its own beer brewed nearby.
