The Fresno Pacific University Foucault Pendulum is located in the lobby of the AIMS (Activities Integrating Mathematics and Science) Hall of Mathematics and Science. The pendulum was dedicated upon the building's opening in 2002. A placard nearby states the pendulum was the gift of Dr. Arthur Wiebe, a former FPU President and his wife, Evelyn. Dr. Wiebe was quoted at the dedication as follows, “The pendulum is a harmonious integration of interrelationship of mathematics and science." I was able to witness one of the pegs falling.
