Biltmore Motel _ Aurora, CO - U.S. 40 - The National Road on Waymarking.com

Just across the city line in Aurora, Colorado, this motel is one of several along this strip of US 40 that were clearly the shelter for many travelers in days gone by. Now the neighborhood is fairly poor...and the motel, looks like it might rent rooms by the hour. There doesn't seem to be any history of the motel online- other than it was once known as the LaRue Motel. But the Biltmore's neon sign seems to be of antique vintage.
The site does appear on the historic Route40.net list at (visit link) and specifally at (visit link) but, unfortunately, no additional information is provided...and the motel, itself, doesn't have a website.
There is a City of Aurora post right outside the motel with the Route 40 emblem on it's base (photo provided with waymark.)
