This statue of Pistol Pete is located in Oklahoma Territorial Plaza, in front of the Frank Eaton home. This plaza has numerous sculptures and is an Oklahoma Centennial Project. Oklahoma Territorial Plaza is in Perkins, on the east side of highway 177.
Frank Eaton was the model for Pistol Pete after students saw him leading a parade and asked him to pose.
