The monument was installed on the 10th May 2003 and is dedicated to the memory of the Czechoslovakian 749 boy and girl scouts who have fallen on the battlefields of both World Wars or the victims of Nazi and Communist tyranny.

The author is a painter, graphic designer and illustrator Vladimir Pechar.
