The Little Mermaid is placed in a pond in the International Peace Gardens. During the winter there is no water in the pond. The mermaid is seated on a rock. She is one of the most popular statues in the park. The sculpture is bronze with a base granite boulder. The statue is a replica of the Little Mermaid statue in Denmark.
