This former fire station is the second oldest visually intact station in the Salt Lake Valley. It was constructed in 1930 to serve the fast expanding population in the area. The building's residential appearance reflects compatibility with surrounding houses. It has been converted into a fine dinning restaurant, Market Street Broiler, near the University of Utah campus. The building in on the National Register, Utah Historic Site.
