The memorial is in the form of a cross on a shaft and sitting on a plinth and three stepped base. The cross has a carved  laurel wreath hanging across the arms of the cross.

The inscription is carved on the front face of the plinth, with the names of the fallen on the two side faces. The inscription reads

THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE
