This is a former military post cemetery. The cemetery dates to before the American Revolution however none of the earlier graves are marked. The earliest marked graves date to the War of 1812. The has 50 or so marked graves and many more unmarked. Most of the graves are from the 19th century though some are from the 20th century.
Date cemetery was established: French and Indian War time frame
