The title "The Family" applies in two ways. In the sculpture there are vague forms of people of different sizes. The sculpture is made from a family of lifting devices. There is a hydraulic jack, a bumper jack and a large chain jack. There are also horse shoes, "C" clamps and various other pieces of metal. Created in 1992 the sculpture was placed at the Faulkner County Museum in 2006. Source: Lynita Langley-Ware, Director, Faulkner County Museum.
