This is worth the time to visit. The cabin still stands, and as of 2010, was open and you can walk right in. The fireplace and outhouses exist on site. Very rural area and relatively undisturbed. The cabin is recessed from the road, but the marker is visible but not prominent. The marker itself is old style set in stone pillar. It is very advisable to use your GPS to find it. This is truly a rare find.
