The Donnelly family's gravesite is in the cemetery of St. Patrick's church on Roman Line, just east of Lucan. The site is said to remain haunted, as is the Roman Line itself and the site of the Donnelly's homestead several kilometres to the north.

Five members of the Donnelly family were murdered on the night of February 3, 1880. The massacre was news across North America and the world, and interest in the incident persists to this day. The grave of the Donnellys can be visited in this public cemetery.
The Donnelly gravesite is said to be haunted by the Donnellys who are buried there. Some say that the corpses come out of the ground at night and start fights with the other ghosts.
The Roman Line is haunted to this day, the road they always traveled from their house. People have reported to see a headless horseman, women screaming, and people have been reported to see The Donnellys. There are rumours that the Roman Line has bad luck for those who travel on it. On the anniversary of their deaths, you may witness all these things, when darkness comes, until morning.
