'The Bedford Arms in the heart of Oakley has undergone a refurbishment which has transformed the 16th Century Inn into a stunning mix of original features and contemporary comfort.
New licensees Tim and Yvonne Walker are very experienced operators, having worked in the pub and restaurant industry for 25 years. They take on The Bedford Arms as a recent progression from their success at the nearby Cock Inn, North Crawley.
Our new refurbishment was carried out with you in mind, offering you the perfect place to drink, eat, relax and enjoy the surroundings and the atmosphere in comfort. Whether you are with us for a drink or for a meal, our team are highly committed to providing you with excellent customer care.'
The building is Grade II Listed from 22nd April 1985; it dates to the 18th century. The sign stands on the corner of Church Road and the High Street some distance away from the pub.
