Your visit to the Scottsdale Railroad Museum begins in the old Peoria, Arizona train depot that was constructed in 1895 and moved to this location in 1974. Within this building are several items on display and you can view a short film. Exit the building from the back door to continue the tour to see the Gabe Brooks machine shop. Next, walk up the ramp and enter a Santa Fe baggage car to view more items on display. Continue through this car to the next, the Roald Amundsen private railcar used by four US Presidents.

Although there is no gift shop, restaurant, or train rides within the museum itself, they are available in the park.
