Source Montorinho
This fountain situated in Martyrs Square of the Republic, all in marble, is based on an elevation of four steps, circling round a fountain in the middle of which there is a cone-shaped trunk, from which flows from the mouth of fish, water from taps, that three in number, give drink to those who seek them throughout the year.

Topped with a picture of a boy sticking Neptune trident on the back of another fish.

Also in the same trunk can see a metal plate darkened by time, as the following inscription:

"There was this source with the government grant obtained by Congressman José Frederico natural Laranjo this town".

Opposite the monument date "1889".
