The Riverton Library was built and opened in 1999. Designed in the "Carnegie" Library architectural style, this beautiful library offers a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere to its patrons. It provides an exceptionally strong children's collection, as well as a wide selection of videos and dvd's, popular fiction, current books in many areas of interest, and Internet access.
Story times are very well attended in Riverton, and the friendly staff presents a variety of entertaining programs for children of all ages, in addition to young adult programs and book discussions for adults. A meeting room with a 40 person capacity is available for public meetings.
