This location should not be confused with Indian Wells, a city in Riverside County. The highway on which this is located is named the "Midland Trail" now State Route 14 it was once signed as US Route 6, the longest highway in the United States. The Indian Wells Lodge is now home a micro brewery - still a watering hole along the old road.
