This public footpath allows you to approach St. Peter’s Addingham church from Low Miil Lane to the South. There has been a church here since the 9th Century, but the first stone building dates from 1181.
I don’t know when the bridge was built, but the tower was added to the church in 1757, so it may date from around the same time.
These days as well as being used by locals, it also carries people walking the Dales Way, a long distance footpath from Ilkley to Bowness.
