Near Palmer, in the center of a pasture of the Musk Ox Farm, is a red structure that is a combination of a corrugated steel Quonset hut and a wood frame and clapboards.
The Quonset hut portion of the structure appears to be a Stran-Steel hut design, as there is a roof 'cap' that is similar to the picture for that kind of struture in the category description. Looking at the structure, there are features that appear to be a door - possibly barricaded - at the end of the structure, and five window outlines along the curved side.
It's difficult to know how long the structure has been there, but from the condition of the wood and the paint, the structure likely has been there for a number of years.
The Musk Ox Farm is the only farm in the world that is attempting to domesticate musk oxen to gather wool. The wool is among the strongest and warmest wool available, helps an Alaskan Native tribe to sustain itself by making the wool into clothing such as scarves. The web site is as follows:

You will likely have to enter the tour to see the barn. I did not try to see the barn from the parking lot or other vantage point. See the web sites for schedule and entrance fee. However, every dollar will go to research and support of the farm, and you even might get to pet a musk ox!
