This lamp post is on a quite cul-de-sac that only leads to the tennis club.
At this point we're about 1/4 mile from the River Wharfe, which has flooded a number of times over the centuries.
Perhaps this not the best location for a tennis club.
The flood left a lot of silt on the 14 grass courts and 6 clay hard courts. As well as causing a lot of work for the ground staff, the silt affected the way the balls bounced off the grass surface.
