Fire Station 1 is the newest and largest of North Bay's three fire stations. It opened in 2000 and is the third station built on the site. It includes the fire pole from the original station and a time capsule to be opened in 2043, the 150th anniversary of the department. The station is also home to North Bay's biggest and best Halloween Party as the firefighters take the lead role working with city businesses, schools and organizations to create a fun-filled horror house (with lots of treats for everyone) every Oct. 31
