NJGS 15 N 3 2000, NJ, is a New Jersey Geodetic Survey (NJGS) survey disk located in the Dept of Public Works Water facility in Surf City, Ocean County, NJ. The disk is set flush in a drill hole in the top of the southwest side of the concrete base of a green, 20-foot tall, cylindrical water tank. The disk was monumented by the NJGS in 2000, and is stamped 15 N 3 2000. It is in the National Geodetic Survey database at PID = AM6917 (visit link) . To reach from the Garden State Parkway, take Exit 63 to State Highway 72 eastbound. Go east on State Highway 72 for about 7.7 miles to the intersection with Long Beach Blvd. Turn left and go northeast on Long Beach Blvd for about 1.15 miles to the intersection with 13th Street. Turn left and go northwest on 13th Street for about 100 feet to the entrance to the water facility on the right. Turn right and go northeast for about 75 feet to the station on the right in the base of the squat water tank. Recovery of this station first logged on the Geocaching datasheet for station SURF RM2, PID = JU0146.
