A simple bronze and granite memorial to the local men who lost their lives in the Vietnam War in 1969.

Members of the local Army National Guard erected this monument to their friends who lost their lives in Vietnam. The monument is located behind the Bardstown, Kentucky Visitor's Center adjacent to a monument to previous wars and the Vietnam War underway at the time.

The bronze plaque reads:

In Memorandum

Dedicated to these men who gave their lives in Vietnam 1969 for the preservation of freedom.
