The mausoleum appears to be constructed of granite and is the final resting place of William and Mary Eliza Wilson. William Wilson was a retired Brigadier General in both the New York National Guard and the U.S. Army. We were unable to find any information about him on the internet, but according to the inscription on the mausoleum he was born in Geneva, New York, on June 16, 1855, and he died on January 6, 1937. His wife, Mary Eliza, was also born in Geneva, New York, on June 2, 1857, and she died on June 21, 1933. The name General Wilson is located on the left side of the mausoleum.
