The tide mill “Moinho do Cais” was inaugurated by the comunality on June 2005, but hte oldest documented reference to it is dated from 1645. The tide mill has a main building where the grinding mechanisms are located and a tank where the water was stored.

You can take a guide tour were you can see the grinding process. Please contact the museum to kow the timetable as the guided tours depend on the tide.
