Bergün is a popular sledging destination. So the Tourism Association of Bergün created the world's largest sled (10 m (32 ft 9 in) long, 4 m (13 ft 1 in) wide and 3.1 m (10 ft 2 in) tall) as a PR event.

It was presented to the public on February 4th, 2006, pulled through the village and put on permanent display next to the railway station.

There is no plaque on the location but the object is listed in the Guinness book web site.
