ARA (Abwasser Reinigungs Anlage "Wastewater Treatment Facility") is located in the West end of the village behind a litte hill where the rivers Tuors and Albula converge.
This facility is responsible for the wastewater of Bergün and its incorporated hamlets Latsch, Stugl and Preda. This is about 500 inhabitants and up to 2000 tourist in peak season, mostly agricultural, very little industry (wood processing).
The facility is also the place to deliver bulky waste. There is no documentation available about the capacities or technologies used. The whole facility is in-house, so there is nothing to see as well.
